A Couple of Helpful iCloud Links

iCloud can be a bit puzzling to use if you’re accustomed to Dropbox or other cloud storage spaces that give you more granular, or detailed, control over what you’re backing up.

This link shows you how to determine whether you’re using your iCloud storage wisely:

50GB of Free Storage for iOS users with Box.net–for a LIMITED time

And so it begins . . . We wondered how Dropbox, Box.net, and other cloud storage companies would deal with the advent of iCloud. It seems that Box.net is dealing by throwing large amounts of free storage at iOS users. The free storage is only available for the next 50 days, and you must log in initially from an iPhone or iPad. And do you know what’s ever so interesting? I just downloaded the Box.net app onto my iPhone, and it seems that they’ve specifically designed this app (and perhaps the free 50GB) for photo storage. I can actually take a picture from within the Box.net app . . . Intriguing.
